The Jidi Jidi Aboriginal Corporation is an RNTBC created in accordance with the Native Title Act 1993, to manage and be trustee of the Native Title of the Nharnuwangga Wajarri Ngarlawangga People.

The Jidi Jidi Corporation is made up of members from the Yulga Jinna Community in Meekatharra, Western Australia.

The Nharnuwangga, Wajarri and Ngarla people are three language groups. Our country is in the Upper Murchison and Upper Gascoyne region of Western Australia, about 700 kilometres from Perth. The three groups came together in 1995 to lodge our claim with the WA Aboriginal Legal Service.

Our claim was in mediation with the State of Western Australia between 1995 and 1998. Our claim went to trial in October 1999. We gave evidence on country for a number of weeks.

Eventually, through persistent private negotiations, we reached an agreement with the other parties to secure the future of our Country.
